Global fraud rates increased by 8% driven by attacks targeting the gaming and gambling and ecommerce sectors, cost-of-living pressures and emerging fraud tactics.

First-party fraud comprises 38.3% of reported frauds globally and remains the leading fraud type for the second consecutive year.

More than one in ten frauds (11%) involve a synthetic identity.
